Cover Me Beautiful... Vanessa Haywood's ELLE Magazine Cover

I am so pleased that during my internship, I was able to work on a cover story. ELLE SA have not done a cover story in a while, and the emmergence of the South African starlet- Vanessa Haywood, was the perfect opportuinty. Vanessa is the star of the blockbuster movie District 9. It's great to see talent coming out of Africa and being celebrated by other Africans! Here are some shots from the shoot and the cover options. The final cover choice is the opening shot, above. Enjoy & Stay fabulous! xxx

Summer Stripes

Stripes are always big news in Summer. Chris Viljoen did a great stripe shoot, without doing the obvious preppy, seaside thing. It's more glamourous, modern, and really really cool. This is how I would wear stripes. Of course it is much better in print, but I hope you can get the idea, and I hope you like! Enjoy & Stay fabulous! xxx

My Only Vice

Hello fabulous people. I have not been able to blog for over 2 weeks now, because of how hectic things have been at work. It has been work, event, work, event for about 2 weeks now. Hopefully I can get back on track with my blog!

So Vice magazine has launched in South Africa. They are taking the underground by storm with a provocative magazine, art exhibitions & great parties on rooftops. Here's a peek at one of the Vice Fashion Editorials & pics from the party. I like this Editorial. It's like 70's glam. The lighting is great with all the reflection. What do you thiink? Enjoy & Stay fabulous! xxx

The Vice "We Own The Sky" Party was amazing. We were dub-stepping on the roof of the Lister Building.

Let's Hear It For The Boys

Sometimes, not very often, I wish I were a boy. I love how menswear can be so funky with so little effort- get the right jeans, a pair of the coolest sneakers and accessorise it, you'll be done. Or a well-cut suit and understated accessories looks amazing! Here are how some of the boys rocked it at Fashion Week. Enjoy & Stay fabulous! xxx

Clive Rundle

I always get excited for off-site shows because I wonder what an exciting spectacle they are putting together, and what the venue is going to be like. I was even more excited because it was Clive rundle's show that was off-site, and I have heard that he is usually provocative and quite subvertive. After Colleen Eitzen I rushed to The Firs. The site of Clive's new shop, which was unveiled at the end of the show. The show did not dissapoint. I like his grungy, distructed look, and me being such a fan of sheer, I was in heaven. I like how sheer in Clive's world isn't a pretty, soft look. These looks are hard as nails, and need pleanty of attitude. I love the dress where the drape structure was created by the zips. Amazing! There were a lot of stand-out pieces but the suits were kind of repetitive. Here are the pictures so you can have a look.
